An Asia-wide Business Plan Competition for Young Innovator.

 

The AIF Young Entrepreneur Award is an international business plan competition for promising students from top universities in Asia. Our vision is to create an Asian entrepreneurial platform that brings together Asia’s youngest entrepreneurs with investors to discover and produce technologies and content with high potential. The final round will be held during the program of Asia Innovation Forum (AIF) 2012 in Tokyo on October 12, 2012.

AIF YEA will provide you an opportunity to:

l  Get a first prize of US$10,000+ Other awards provided by sponsors

l  Visit Tokyo and present your business plan to highly experienced business leaders

l  Develop a network of people in the front line of world business and student entrepreneurs

 

Eligibility for Entry:

l  Individuals or groups of students from Asian countries, including graduates within the past three years, who plan to establish new business or have established own company within the past five years.

l  Any type of business or industry field is acceptable.

 

l  Language: Japanese or English, both for the written materials and oral presentation.

l  The business plan must be the original work of the applicant and must not have received an award from other competitions in the past.

 

Selection Process & Schedule:

1.      1st round submission deadline: July 23, 2012, 17:00 (Japan time)

Notification of 1st round results: August 10, 2012

2.      2nd round (online presentations): mid-August, 2012

Notification of 2nd round results: September 9, 2012

3.      Final round (open presentation and award ceremony at Asia Innovation Forum 2012): October 12, 2012
